Seizing opportunities in the midst of turmoil

Watermelon on creative is undoubtedly a successful design team, but Sarah concluded her presentation by referring to the social issues caused by the 'Effects of the pandemic', the 'Cost of living crisis' and the 'War in Ukraine', which have had a huge impact on the design industry. "The social issues caused by 'Effects of the pandemic', 'Cost of living crisis' and 'War in Ukraine', among others, have fluctuated into the design industry and have created a huge challenge for it. But in my opinion, although this is a challenge, it is also an opportunity. If we are able to take advantage of the situation in this society, we will be able to seize this opportunity and be successful. I think that in the coming years, the trend in the apparel industry will be, first of all, in social media, such as live selling or advertising and multi-faceted promotion in social software, which will boost the growth of apparel brands. Secondly, the digitalization of companies' operations has reached the marrow of their bones. Under the influence of the epidemic, the front-end and back-end operations of enterprises are basically online, which is a good development trend, and big data and AI intelligence can provide continuous assistance and development for the garment industry in the future. Finally, establishing a stable partnership with partners is also one of the cores of the garment industry's future development. After the great fluctuations in business worldwide following the epidemic, the role of supply capacity has been brought to the fore, and the core part of this lies in the partners. In the future, if apparel companies want to resist the risks of force majeure, they must strengthen win-win cooperation and build stable relationships with their partners in order to stay afloat amidst the risks. These are the directions I associate with the future development of the garment industry through social issues.
