How career support can help students

This talk mentioned that the university will give us some guidance on employment, which I think will enable me to make a smooth transition from the campus learning environment to the social working environment.

First of all, career guidance helps us students to establish a correct outlook on employment. Employment outlook refers to the basic understanding and attitude of individuals towards their future career and development goals under the guidance of certain world views, life views and values. And employment outlook directly affects an individual's choice of career and employment, it can directly guide our career choices and be reflected through career choices and career activities. Employment exposes us to the test of moving from school life into social life.

In addition, career guidance can help us to make the right career choices. When we are about to enter the workplace, we need to choose a suitable career position among many career positions according to our career intention, career interest, career ability, personality traits and social needs. It includes two levels of meaning: one is the choice of the individual to the employer, and the other is the choice of the employer to the employed person. It is thus clear that career choice is a two-way choice, and a one-way choice in any sense cannot constitute the most ideal and effective combination of the employed person and the career. And career guidance can help us to set the right direction and reduce some of the obstacles in our job search process.

Finally, career guidance can facilitate our development. It is the common desire of our graduates to develop and become successful. How we contribute to society, how we live our personal lifestyles, and especially whether we can develop and become successful quickly, have a lot to do with the society we go to after graduation. Through career guidance, we can help us find the right career for ourselves and create good conditions for their development and success. To sum up, career guidance at school can quickly promote and implement our employment issues, which is very helpful for me as I have never had any work experience before.
